About The Breed:

In 1567 a royal breeding program was developed to create the ideal Spanish Horse. A breed that would become a national treasure and a Hollywood star.

A war horse built for advanced movement with collection, elegance and precision. Known for movements like Passage, Piaffe, Spanish Walk and Jambette. They are most commonly grey in color. Standing 15.2-16.2hh. Many breeds can be traced back to Andalusian bloodlines including Thoroughbred, Friesian, Quarter Horse and Mustang.

The Andalusian breed originated in the Iberian Peninsula and is one of the oldest breeds of horse. The Andalusian was bred principally by Carthusian Monks in the late Middle Ages. Every purebred Andalusian/Lusitano today can trace its lineage directly to the Stud Books of Spain and Portugal.
