About The Breed:

1.jpg

The Blazer breed started in 1967. All Blazer horses trace back to one founding sire, Little Blaze. He was a combination of Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, Morgan and Shetland. A man named Neil Hinck bred Little Blaze and then chose his foundation stock for the breed.

He handpicked 15 mares by conformation and disposition only, then kept a close herd for 50 years. ~Diane Robson

Blazer horses are described as... Efficient: Standing only 13-15hh they are easy to care for, feed and maintain. Versatile: Extreme Cowboy Races, Cows, Mountain Trails. Durable: Known to be out working well into their twenties without missing a beat! Personable: They are people friendly and like to “Adopt their people.”
