Known as, “The horse America Made.” Developed in the 1700's as an all-purpose riding horse. They were the mount of choice for Civil War Generals. Including Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant and Stonewall Jackson. After the war, horse shows brought a renewed sense of pride, purpose and competition. These elegant horses with big hearts and animated style became stars. True to their roots. Today, this versatile horse can be found on the trail, with the family and shining in the spotlight of many different disciplines.
