About The Breed:

This beautiful breed looks like it stepped right out of a fairy tale. Selectively bred for over half a century by the Gypsies of Great Britan. The name Gypsy Vanner Horse was chosen because they were the horses bred to pull the caraVAN. In 1996 the first Gypsy Vanner Horses were brought to the United States and the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society was started. They have have an abundance of feathering on their legs as well as lots on mane and tail. Some even have mustaches! They come in any color, and are known for their quiet temperaments. From riding to driving, they are now seen in a wide variety of disciplines.
